Product Quality
Our quarries are located in the region where the best Deccan basalt rock is found which is rich in silica content, and have good properties like, good impact value, density & strength.
All 3 plants at KSC are equipped with vertical shaft impactors to get desired output of good quality consistently which is solid & Non-Flake. The perfect screen size selected giving an output which is highly graded & with very good impact value. The aggregates are regularly checked for seive analysis to ensure the quality.
We have modified the process further to get the fine product upto 75 micron which are un desirable from the point of view of concrete strength & Cement consumption & for this vertical shaft impactor is used as shaper & not as crusher.
Manufacturing System
KSC is using advanced technique like Jaw- cone & VSI which is further modified to Jaw Gyratory-Cone, Fine Cones & VSI Superfine Cone combination to get the best quality aggregates with a unique size of the stone. These techniques have helped us to reduce the residue in the sand & also fine particles i.e (particles below 75 microns) on the other side there is increase in production cost but it is compensated in meeting our other targets of reducing air pollution & protecting the environment.
KSC has procured world class modern machines which automatically controls all utility factors & separates the products after desired step in manufacturing process also the screen & specific intervals in production line ensures right quality & make the process human interdependent & apart from operators skills.
Advances Machinery Plant
Plant and Machinery used in production line are manufactured by M/s Puzzolana who are well known manufactures & fabricators in this sector & have well established brands of different machinery in the global market. KSC has a team of engineers doing continuous research on production techniques they have also decided priority in research work & giving more priority for quality manufacturing, reducing pollution, increasing safety standards & than reducing manufacturing costs.
All machinery used in KSC Plants are designed specially to the demands of KSC engineers by the manufacturers. Thus KSC have timely upgraded its production line with all ethics, values & business priorities on top.
To ensure proper functioning of the modern machinery we have skilled team of enginners & support staff who take due care of the machines by preventive & routine maintenance. We also have an independent department for vehicles & digging & moving machines. For loading the dumpers world class loading machines, elevators & belt conveyers are used to reduce the human interference & automate the system. Every truck are weighed before loading & un loading & also before dispatch of material out side the factory gate.
Environmental Balance
KSC set a culture not only to make the manufacturing system more eco- friendly & Pollution free but also have taken many steps to protect the environment near around. KSC Engineers work hard all time on the research to develop the machinery which are pollution free & causing very less hazard to the environment.
On the other hand KSC Management have taken wide steps in safety & protecting the environment nearby. KSC celebrates the 'World Environment day' by an event of tree plantation. KSC is proud to say that we have planted more than 1 Lac plants, which is our small step to rehabilitate the environment.
